OSHC Coordinator - Sunshine Coast Grammar

About the role

Sunshine Coast Grammar School OSHClub, part of Junior Adventures Group, is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator for its growing OSHClub service. The role leads a team of Educators and oversees a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, set on the school's 100-acre grounds where around 40 children are cared for each day. It is a permanent, part-time position of 33 hours per week, split across Monday to Friday with 4 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated.
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow.

Required profile

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in QLD under ACECQA.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• Natural leader, strong communicator and team player.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check, Australian work rights.
