OSHC Coordinator (Qualified) – Success Area

About the role

The OSHC Coordinator will lead a team of educators delivering before‑ and after‑school programs for children aged 5‑12 in the Success area. You will create an inclusive, supportive environment and oversee daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of educators, managing rosters and day‑to‑day service delivery.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities such as STEM, sports, cooking, and arts & crafts.
• Ensure compliance with ACECQA standards, child safety policies, and relevant regulations.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community.
• Support program planning, quality improvement, and administrative duties including paid non‑contact time.

Required profile

• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including disability, inclusion support, or early childhood education.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check, working‑with‑children check, and Australian working rights.
• Completed relevant ACECQA‑recognised qualification (e.g., WA First Qualified Educator).
• Calm, confident leader capable of handling complex situations and fostering consistency.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of inclusive practice and positive behaviour support.
• Ability to create and maintain effective routines and engaging program activities.
