OSHC Coordinator - Holland Park

About the role

Helping Hands Holland Park, a large and established OSHC service run by Junior Adventures Group, is seeking an experienced and motivated OSHC Coordinator. The service provides before-school, after-school and vacation care for up to 210 children in the afternoons and 180 during mornings and holidays. As Coordinator you will lead a team of Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, with a Service Manager onsite to coach and guide you.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration, with 8 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time each week.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated.
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow.

Required profile

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in Queensland under ACECQA.
• Proven experience working as an OSHC leader.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• A natural leader with strong communication skills, and a team player who encourages growth.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check, Australian work rights, and a commitment to child safety principles.
