OSHC Coordinator - Fun Squad Service Manager

About the role

PCYC Alligator Creek is seeking a passionate and professional Fun Squad Service Manager (OSHC Coordinator) to lead and oversee its PCYC Alligator Creek Fun Squad service. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead and manage the service so it runs in line with government regulations, legislation, the National Quality Framework and organisational requirements, while building stakeholder relationships and promoting a supportive culture of safety aligned with PCYC Queensland values. The position is permanent and part time, 32 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fun Squad service in line with government regulations, legislation and the National Quality Framework
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to strengthen commitment to the PCYC brand
• Inspire a supportive culture of safety and foster a respectful, positive atmosphere
• Take on the responsibility of nominated supervisor

Required profile

• Qualified managers: minimum Diploma in Childhood Studies or another qualification recognised by the regulator; unqualified managers: minimum Certificate III in Childhood Studies or equivalent, working towards a Diploma
• One of the child protection certificates: CHCPRT025, CHCPRT026 or CHCECE057
• Demonstrated knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing Fun Squad operations
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a multidisciplinary Fun Squad team
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or able to obtain it, and a current First Aid and CPR certificate or able to obtain it
