OSHC Coordinator - Ferny Grove

About the role

Helping Hands Ferny Grove, part of Junior Adventures Group, is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator for its growing service. You will lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. The role is permanent and full-time, split across three shifts: Rise Then Shine (6:30am-9:00am), Stay and Play (2:30pm-6:00pm) and School Holidays (block shifts 6:30am-6:00pm), with 8 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated.
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow.

Required profile

• A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer).
• Australian working rights.
• QLD 2-Year Qualified Educator status, or working towards it, in line with ACECQA.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko).
