Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope)

About the role

A well-established dental practice in Tamworth, NSW, with over 30 years of experience and a modern 8-chair clinic offering general dentistry, Invisalign, orthodontics, implants and restorative dentistry, is seeking an experienced Oral Health Therapist with full adult scope. The therapist will treat patients of all ages, including children and families, alongside experienced dentists and receive mentorship from the Principal Dentist.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral health assessments and preventive treatments
• Perform restorative procedures within your full adult scope
• Deliver periodontal treatment, scale and cleans, and ongoing oral hygiene care
• Treat children and adults across an established patient base
• Provide patient education and build long-term patient relationships
• Collaborate with experienced dentists across general, orthodontic and restorative treatments
• Manage approximately 8-15 patients per day, depending on treatment needs and appointment length

Required profile

• Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent recognised qualification
• Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
• Full adult scope of practice
• Confidence delivering preventive, periodontal and restorative treatments
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality care
• Genuine interest in ongoing clinical development
