Operations Manager - Remote Aboriginal Community

About the role

Wirrimanu Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Operations Manager (maximum term 12 months) to lead and coordinate operational, maintenance and asset management activities across the remote communities of Balgo, Bililuna and Mulan. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is hands-on and supports the delivery of essential services and the maintenance of assets that support community wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage community infrastructure, workshops, plant and equipment, and fleet operations
• Manage fuel supplies, contractor management and maintenance programs
• Coordinate operational, maintenance and asset management activities across Balgo, Bililuna and Mulan

Required profile

• Experience in operations, maintenance, infrastructure or asset management, including managing staff, contractors, plant, equipment and operational projects
• Strong organisational and reporting skills
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively within a remote Aboriginal community environment
• Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence

What we offer

• Salary of $135,000 per annum plus superannuation
• 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% loading, and 4 weeks special leave per year
