Occupational Therapist Level 3 - Mental Health Rehabilitation Team

About the role

Hunter New England Health is recruiting an Occupational Therapist Level 3 for its Newcastle Community Mental Health Service Rehabilitation Team. You will work alongside clients, their families and carers to support recovery, independence and wellbeing, within a multidisciplinary team that reports to the HSM2 Team Manager. The position is temporary full time, 38 hours per week, based at the James Fletcher Hospital site, with a 9-day fortnight.

Required profile

• Current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
• Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship with a current passport, or an appropriate visa allowing work in Australia; no visa sponsorship available.
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in a range of mental health clinical settings.
• Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and to balance independent clinical practice with collaboration.
