Occupational Therapist

About the role

Ability Action Australia is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants. The clinician advocates strongly for participants so they can get the support they need, when they need it, working alongside colleagues in a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and their capacity to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Interpret assessment findings to formulate treatment goals.
• Take part in professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision.
• Engage in group supervision and disability-specific workshops.
• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and allied health professionals.
