Occupational Therapist - Graduate Program 2027

About the role

AIM Therapy for Children is looking for a newly graduated or soon-to-graduate Occupational Therapist to join its 2027 graduate program. The role suits someone ready to make a difference to children and families but who needs support in their first years of practice. You will work in fully equipped therapy spaces focused on fun, engagement and sensory needs, alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Complete initial appointments and get to know new families
• Run fun, creative therapy sessions in the clinic and in the community
• Work closely with schools, families and other stakeholders
• Review therapy journeys and plan next steps as children reach goals or transition
• Take part in a professional development program with opportunities to grow

Required profile

• Newly graduated or soon-to-graduate Occupational Therapist
• Curious, compassionate and people-focused, motivated to help children and families
• Confident communicator able to build strong connections with kids and families
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
