Registered Paediatric Psychologist

About the role

AIM Therapy for Children is looking for a Registered Paediatric Psychologist to join its team of allied health professionals. The role helps children build skills, confidence and independence through fun, creative therapy sessions, working alongside occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and positive behaviour support specialists. Opportunities are available at the Jindalee and Joondalup clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Complete initial appointments and get to know new families
• Run fun, creative therapy sessions in the clinic and in the community
• Work closely with schools, families and other stakeholders
• Review therapy journeys and plan next steps as children reach goals or transition
• Take part in a professional development program

Required profile

• Current General Registration with AHPRA
• Valid Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to connect easily with children and families
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
