Occupational Therapist - Aged Care & NDIS, Sydney

About the role

A national allied health team of 140+ clinicians, working remotely from home, has expanded into Support at Home (Aged Care) and is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work part time across both Aged Care and NDIS. The location is flexible across wider Sydney, with travel typically within 30-40 minutes of home.

Key responsibilities

• Work with older people in their homes, completing assessments and recommending assistive technology, home modifications and therapy strategies to help them stay safe and independent
• Help build the team's capability by supporting the training and upskilling of clinicians into Support at Home
• Caseload includes NDIS participants in the local area, which can be shaped around preferred age groups
• Join an established multidisciplinary team across Greater Sydney with strong local relationships

Required profile

• Occupational Therapy qualification and full AHPRA registration
• Aged Care/Support at Home experience and confidence in training and upskilling other clinicians
• Experience working with NDIS clients in a community setting
• Suitable home-based working environment, NDIS Worker Screening Check, full driver's licence and reliable vehicle, and full working rights
