About the role
EnerMech is seeking experienced Nitrogen Process Technicians to support a major LNG plant shutdown in Western Australia from September to November 2026. The role involves carrying out nitrogen purging operations safely and efficiently during the shutdown.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor Nitrogen Generation Units, high‑pressure air compressors and dryers.
- Execute operational activities following procedures under the direction of the Project Engineer and Supervisor.
- Generate clear operational records and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental systems.
- Participate in pre‑start meetings and toolbox talks to support safe nitrogen purging activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Nitrogen Process Technician, Process Technician, Operator or similar on shutdown, maintenance or turnaround projects.
- Demonstrated experience with Nitrogen Membrane Units, high‑pressure air compressors and dryers.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and a high commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Current Australian driver’s licence, Construction White Card and ability to pass Safer Together Medical.
