Night Manager - Mercure Sydney Blacktown

About the role

A full-time Night Manager is sought for Mercure Sydney Blacktown, a Mercure property in Western Sydney offering family rooms, 24-hour reception, a cafe, restaurant and all-day dining, plus free open-air parking. The Night Manager ensures the overnight operation runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping guests satisfied and the property safe.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient guest services, including check-in and check-out, request handling and hotel information
• Settle and maintain guest accounts accurately
• Maintain strict security procedures to protect guest confidentiality and safety
• Assist the Guest Service Manager and General Manager with checks and balances
• Prepare and deliver food from the all-day dining menu and cafe as required
• Help with morning breakfast set-up and guest needs

Required profile

• Guest-focused approach, able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Quick-thinking problem solving and clear, confident written and verbal communication
• Willingness to work the 11pm to 7.30am shift on a 7-day roster
• RSA and First Aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
