Night Duty Registered Nurse (Relief) – Part‑time

About the role

Join the Residential Aged Care team at Karri & Tuart Lodge as a Night Duty Registered Nurse on a permanent part‑time basis. You will be the senior clinician on duty, delivering high‑quality overnight care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee resident care during night shifts (9:00 pm – 7:30 am).
• Conduct clinical assessments, recognise changes in resident conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and provide complex clinical interventions such as wound management.
• Liaise with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals regarding care plans and outcomes.
• Monitor incidents, respond to resident deterioration and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Supervise, support and mentor care staff throughout the night.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in aged‑care or similar clinical settings.
• Confident working autonomously and making sound clinical decisions.
• Flexible to work weekday night shifts, especially Wednesday and Thursday.
• Willingness to take additional shifts at nearby Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge in the future.
