Night Audit

About the role

Veriu Group, which owns Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, is hiring a Night Audit for its 110-apartment hotel, Veriu QVM, in Melbourne. The position reports to the Super Host and sits in a small team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences. It is a permanent part-time role.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of guest service at every touchpoint, from check-in and check-out to during the stay
• Solve complaints and problems creatively
• Act as a knowledgeable local guide, recommending points of interest to guests
• Handle emergencies safely and professionally
• Look for ways to attract more returning and new guests
• Help the Hotel Manager keep the hotel running to Veri-Best standards

Required profile

• Adaptable, flexible and able to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays on rotation (no overnight shifts)
• Ability to work both as a team member and independently
• Customer service experience
• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa with approved working rights)
• First Aid certificate, or ability to obtain one before starting
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, or ability to obtain one before starting
