Network Operations Manager (Contract) - Brisbane

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent requirement for a Network Operations Manager on a 6-month contract in Brisbane, with possible extension. The role covers designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, with a strong focus on routing and switching, network security, VPN, SD-WAN and data centre networking.

Key responsibilities

• Routing & switching: design, deploy and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN networks; implement BGP, OSPF and EIGRP; configure VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP and QoS; plan capacity and run upgrades
• Network security: design and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, zones, App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, WildFire and SSL decryption; audit, upgrade and tune rules; respond to security incidents
• VPN & remote access: deploy and maintain Prisma Global Protect, including remote access and site-to-site IPsec VPN, with MFA integration
• SD-WAN: design and implement Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, manage Auto VPN, traffic shaping, WAN failover and application-aware routing, monitor via Meraki Dashboard and integrate with cloud and data centre networks
• Data centre networking: deploy and manage Cisco ACI fabric, automate provisioning, integrate with legacy networks and L3Out, and troubleshoot spine-leaf issues
• Monitoring and operations: use tools such as Statseeker, SolarWinds or PRTG, maintain documentation, perform root cause analysis and follow ITIL processes

• Australian or NZ citizens or PR holders only
• Duration of 6 months, with possible extension
