Network Engineer – Customer Infrastructure & Support

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to maintain, administer, and support customer network and infrastructure environments. You will play a key role in ensuring network reliability, security, and performance while diagnosing technical issues, maintaining infrastructure, and implementing effective security measures. The role combines network administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, infrastructure support, and customer service, with opportunities to work across a broad range of networking and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer customer networks, systems, hardware, software, and configurations.
• Monitor network performance, availability and system health using management consoles and Kaseya tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues, including complex troubleshooting with packet capture and protocol analysis.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, antivirus, endpoint protection and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Provide professional technical support on‑site or remotely, including disaster recovery, data backup and hardware replacement.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network administration, engineering or a related technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, or comparable industry experience.
• CCNA certification (required); CCNP or additional networking, security or cloud certifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Design, implementation and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP and SNMP.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows domain controllers, file servers and security groups.
• Proficiency with network monitoring platforms and the Kaseya suite of tools.
• Understanding of network security principles, encryption, authentication and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Use of packet capture, network sniffers and protocol analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, SDN concepts and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with VMware ESXi, network virtualization and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and related infrastructure technologies.
