National Key Account Manager – Pharmacy & Hospital

About the role

The National Key Account Manager will lead relationships with major pharmacy banner groups, hospital tender boards, key opinion leaders, payers and distributors across Australia. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, the role combines market‑access support, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth for a global generics pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key pharmacy banner groups, hospitals, wholesalers, distributors and procurement authorities.
• Support market‑access initiatives, including PBS listings, tender participation and formulary inclusion.
• Collect, analyse and report sales data from IQVIA and internal sources, preparing price disclosure reports.
• Oversee customer relations, including stock reviews, discount negotiations, tender management and contract administration.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management and finance to align commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous pharmacy sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with established contacts in banner groups and exposure to hospital environments.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree in Business, Science or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales analytics tools.
