National Account Manager

About the role

As a key member of the Commercial Team, you will lead strategic customer relationships across the Independents Retail channel, delivering sustainable growth for both our customers and premium spirits brands.

Key responsibilities

• Protect and grow the position of all WG&S brands within the Independents market by building strong relationships and Joint Business Plans with key customers.
• Maximise Net Revenue Management through price, mix, trade spend and customer mix to deliver the budget.
• Lead the forecasting and budget process and manage the meeting and review cycle.
• Manage customer base effectively through Route to Consumer, Joint Business Plans and regular meetings.
• Contribute to operating rhythm by participating in Commercial Forum, Sales & Operations Planning and Lockdowns.

Required profile

• Commercially astute relationship builder with experience in the Australian liquor industry.
• Strong understanding of Route to Market, Field Sales and customer dynamics.
• Proven forecasting, planning and budget management experience.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple customer relationships.

Required skills

• Experience managing Independents Retail customers.
• Strong commercial capability, including P&L responsibility and financial understanding.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
