National Account Manager – Auto Care

About the role

Energizer Holdings is seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager to own and grow our key auto‑care customers, Repco and Bapcor. You will be responsible for delivering strong commercial outcomes, shaping long‑term growth strategies, and acting as the primary liaison between the customer and our internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand key national accounts, meeting sales, margin, volume and market‑share targets.
• Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and develop multi‑year customer strategies.
• Plan and execute promotions across in‑store and digital channels.
• Optimise range, pricing, distribution and merchandising.
• Identify growth opportunities using data and category insights.
• Manage customer P&L and trade spend to maximise ROI.
• Negotiate trading terms and maintain strong, trusted relationships.
• Partner with supply‑chain teams to ensure high service levels (DIFOT) and accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply teams on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of FMCG account management experience, preferably in grocery or major retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence at multiple organisational levels.
• Analytical mindset capable of turning data into actionable insights.
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder‑management skills.
• High energy, initiative‑driven and growth‑oriented.
