Nanny for Baby Girl, Huntleys Cove

About the role

A warm, fun-loving family in Huntleys Cove, NSW is seeking a calm, playful and laid-back nanny to care for their baby girl, who is currently 3 months old and will be about 6 months old when the nanny starts on 4 January 2027. The role focuses on a nurturing, stimulating day that follows the baby's individual feeding and sleeping routines, with support for development through play, outdoor time and age-appropriate activities. The parents' work schedules may occasionally allow some flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive and nurturing care for the baby
• Follow the baby's feeding and sleep routines
• Engage the baby in age-appropriate play and activities, including books and interaction
• Take the baby to the nearby park and enjoy outdoor time
• Prepare simple meals and age-appropriate solids, and give bottle or milk feeds as required
• Manage the baby's laundry and keep the baby's areas tidy and organised
• Communicate openly with the parents about the baby's routine and development

Required profile

• Calm, relaxed, patient and attentive, with confidence caring for a young baby
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently
• Enjoys spending time with babies and play and outdoor activities
• Good communicator who fits into an inclusive, warm household
• Current Working With Children Check, current First Aid and CPR certification, excellent references and non-smoker
• 3+ years of professional experience caring for babies is highly desirable
