About the role
Integrity Management is seeking an experienced NACE / AMPP Level 2 Coatings Inspector to support Defence maritime sustainment projects. The role involves third‑party inspection of surface preparation, coating application, and DFT measurements, with reporting and coordination across stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with supervisors, crews, contractors and client representatives.
- Conduct surface preparation and coating application inspections.
- Perform DFT measurements and review specifications, ITPs and technical data sheets.
- Identify and report coating quality issues, prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in quality, safety and OQE audits and maintain inspection equipment.
Required profile
- Current NACE Level 2 / AMPP CIP Level 2 accreditation.
- Minimum 3 years relevant coatings inspection experience, preferably in Defence.
- Confined Space Entry, Working Safely at Heights, White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
- Australian residency (citizenship preferred) and recent National Police Clearance.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol screening.
Required skills
- NACE Level 2 / AMPP CIP Level 2 certification.
- Coatings inspection and DFT measurement expertise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and email correspondence.
