About the role

In-Balance, a multidisciplinary allied health team in Launceston, Tasmania, is looking for a dedicated MSK physiotherapist. The practice is built around unhurried, meaningful consultations, with two clinics: the heritage-listed Charles Street clinic and a new Watchorn Street clinic in South Launceston. The role suits someone who enjoys working with patients every day and wants to own their caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Treat a full caseload of around 40 appointments a week, with 45-minute initial consultations (60 minutes for specialty areas) and 30-minute follow-ups
• Combine hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation
• Take ownership of patient outcomes, rebooking and continuity of care
• Offer 1:1 consults, with opportunities for small-group rehab, hydrotherapy and Pilates classes
• Use VALD force plates and dynamometry for evidence-based assessment

Required profile

• Physiotherapy degree and post-graduate MSK experience
• At least 2 years' experience in private practice
• Full AHPRA registration
• Working with Vulnerable People registration and a driver's licence
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a full caseload

What we offer

• Salary of $73,000-$110,000 base depending on experience, plus super and a quarterly bonus for meeting and exceeding targets
• Flexible hours: full-time, part-time or a 9-day fortnight, Monday to Friday only; 30 minutes of paid admin time every day
