Modernisation Electrician - Elevator Installation

About the role

KONE is looking for several Modernisation Electricians to join its Modernisation team in Melbourne, Victoria. You will manage the installation of KONE's elevator products, from low-rise housing to the world's tallest skyscrapers. The role involves managing the equipment installation environment, communicating with customers and reporting progress to the installation supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the equipment installation environment during installation activities
• Manage on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistics
• Report installation progress to the installation supervisor
• Carry out all activities in line with KONE policies, including health, quality and safety standards
• Install according to pre-determined method instructions and schedule
• Maintain customer relationships in the local region

Required profile

• Previous lift industry experience desired
• Qualified Certificate 111 in Electrotechnology
• Experience managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder expectations
• Self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities and work safely with a focus on quality
• Customer service mindset, excellent communication and teamwork skills
