Mobile Concrete Plants Project Manager (FIFO)

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Fly-in-Fly-out (FIFO) Mobile Project Manager to oversee its remote project concrete plants at the Talison Lithium Mine (Plant 3199 WR-Mobile Greenbushes). The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and works on a 3:1 or 2:1 roster depending on the project, with the point of hire in Perth, Western Australia. It suits someone with exceptional customer service, people management, strong commercial acumen and high-level administration skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employees and contractors working on remote sites
• Coordinate maintenance of the concrete batch plant, agitator truck fleet and other site assets
• Handle general HR duties such as rostering, payroll, onboarding, training and compliance
• Manage the project contract and client relationships
• Maintain strict health and safety, quality and environmental controls
• Ensure delivery and maintenance of high-level project documentation

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Total dedication to safety and risk management
• Valid C Class driver's licence
• Previous FIFO, mining or construction experience highly valued
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal and leadership skills, with strong problem-solving ability

Required skills

• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification highly regarded
• Contract, logistics and resourcing experience highly valued
• Computer literacy
