Mobile Cleaner - Residential Care

About the role

Amana Living is offering a hospitality services cleaner position in Perth, working across residential care sites. The role involves performing all cleaning duties and interacting with management, staff, residents and their families, visiting health professionals and others in the workplace, in line with the company's core values. It is described as a full-time position of 76 hours, with shifts scheduled within the hours listed below; travelling between sites is essential.

Schedule (Week One and Two): Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with management, staff, residents and their families, and visiting health professionals
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of communal areas
• Maintain and manage stock in cleaning cupboards
• Ensure meeting rooms are set up correctly
• Undertake any other duties and projects as required

Required profile

• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Current flu vaccination, as per Amana Living policy
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months)
• NDIS clearance certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Successful completion of pre-employment forms and reference checks
• Valid driver's licence

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of microfibre products and cleaning techniques
• Knowledge of floor scrubbers, extractors and upholstery cleaning machines
