Mission Systems Trainer

About the role

Based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, the Mission Systems Trainer will support the training of mission systems for a defence program. The role works closely with squadron stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and successful program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with squadron representatives to deliver courseware support and maintenance training on the platform.
• Conduct reviews of maintenance training, develop and update courseware, and provide feedback to students.
• Deliver maintenance training sessions and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
• Travel up to 10% of the time during the first year.

Required profile

• Prior experience in the aerospace or defence industry.
• Hold a B2 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence or equivalent Cert 4 (mandatory).
• Demonstrated competency in developing and delivering courseware.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a PV Australian Defence Security Clearance.
