- Give tactical advice to customer planners on system capabilities, limitations and employment options
- Develop and maintain tactical procedures, checklists, planning aids and quick-reference materials
- Help refine Concepts of Employment (CONEMP) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
- Support operator training, including preparing training materials and subject matter support during courses
- Mentor and coach operators during exercises and employment
- Plan and run Anduril's operational contribution to exercises and demonstrations
- Capture user feedback on system performance and usability and turn it into input for engineering and product teams
- Advocate for the user by identifying gaps in procedures, training or system capability
- Support post-exercise debriefs and lessons learned, and contribute to program reporting and customer performance reviews
Required profile
- Experience in operational planning, mission analysis, capability development or a related field such as defence, aviation, mining or complex logistics
- Demonstrated ability to work at the tactical level, turning system capabilities into practical employment options
- Experience delivering training, instruction or coaching in a Defence or technical context
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with military operators and planners as a peer
- Comfortable working autonomously in a customer environment with minimal direction
- Australian citizen holding a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) security clearance
Preferred qualifications
- Military background with operational experience in a maritime environment
- Experience with autonomous systems, unmanned platforms or emerging military technology
- Defence industry customer-facing role, knowledge of undersea and maritime warfare concepts, and understanding of defence acquisition processes
- Experience with CONOPS, CONEMP, TTP development, operational test and evaluation, exercise planning or wargaming
The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors (base salary only); actual offers may vary. Full-time offers typically include highly competitive equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.
