About the role
As a Minor Safety Analyst supporting a global technology client, you will protect vulnerable users by reviewing and processing safety and abuse reports involving minors. The role is remote within Australia and follows a Tuesday‑Saturday 9:00‑17:00 schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process abuse and safety incident reports related to minors, adhering to operational procedures.
- Conduct open‑source and in‑platform investigations to identify harmful behaviours, threat actors, techniques and impact.
- Document findings in clear written summaries, briefings and investigative reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and vendor teams to ensure efficient and accurate handling of safety requests.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years experience in trust & safety, behavioural abuse investigations or related intelligence work.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Criminology, Cybersecurity, Communications) or equivalent practical experience.
- Permanent Australian work rights.
Required skills
- Open‑source research (OSINT) and social media investigation techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication for objective presentation of findings.
- Ability to manage multiple cases under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
