Mine Manager – Large-Scale Mining Operations

About the role

Myndshift Group is partnering with a Tier 1 ASX listed mining contractor to find an experienced Mine Manager to lead mining operations and drive performance, safety and productivity. The role suits an established mining leader who has previously operated at Mine Manager level and managed large-scale operations with an ultra-class mining fleet. It offers a Monday to Friday roster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient and productive outcomes.
• Drive operational performance against safety, production, cost and equipment utilisation targets.
• Lead, develop and mentor operational leadership teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Manage large-scale mining operations involving ultra-class mobile equipment fleets.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
• Monitor costs, productivity and performance metrics to identify improvements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, site stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, equipment performance and workforce productivity.
• Deliver operational plans in line with contractual commitments and business objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience at Mine Manager level in a large-scale mining operation.
• Demonstrated experience managing large ultra-class mining equipment fleets.
• Track record of safe, productive and commercially successful operations.
• Proven leadership of large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• An SSE (Site Senior Executive) statutory ticket is highly desirable.
