Middle Office Analyst - Interest Rate Products

About the role

Marex is looking for a junior-level Middle Office Analyst to manage a portfolio of interest rate products, particularly interest rate swaps for AUD and NZD. The role suits an experienced, ambitious and proactive person who can work autonomously, within a team and directly with clients, while building commercial relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deal in interest rate swaps, especially for AUD and NZD products
• Correspond indirectly with clients, including banks, hedge funds and real money institutions
• Assist with onboarding new client relationships and maintaining existing ones, and support colleagues' support processes
• Help prepare new frameworks and contribute to making efficiencies
• Collaborate with central operations functions such as Operations and Technology
• Analyse markets and products to help increase P&L
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the operational risk framework, and escalate risk events immediately
• Follow the Code of Conduct, report breaches of policy to Compliance or your supervisor, and give input to risk management processes
