Mid-Senior Full Stack Web Developer

About the role

GalaBid is looking for a passionate Mid‑Senior Full Stack Web Developer to help scale its fundraising platform for charities and non‑profits worldwide. You will work on both the frontend and backend, delivering new features and ensuring a smooth, secure user experience for global fundraising events.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Python and Django (or equivalent frameworks).
• Build responsive, enterprise‑grade single‑page applications with Angular (or migrate from React/Vue).
• Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid‑level developers.

Required profile

• 3–6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and Django/Django REST Framework, or willingness to transition from another modern backend stack.
• Proven experience building enterprise SPAs with TypeScript and Angular (2+); experience with React or Vue is a plus.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows.
