Mid-Level Dangerous Goods Compliance Specialist - EHS

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Mid-Level Dangerous Goods Compliance Specialist to ensure Boeing sites across the Asia‑Pacific region meet all relevant Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations. The role involves travelling to multiple facilities, conducting audits, delivering training and acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document strategies to achieve compliance with DG regulations such as ADG, ICAO/IATA, IMO/IMDG and others.
• Perform product DG classification, maintain data accuracy and lead the regional DG program.
• Conduct audits, provide training, and report findings to leadership with improvement recommendations.
• Interface with regulatory agencies, submit permit approvals and respond to investigations.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, procurement and vendors to standardise processes and minimise risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in dangerous goods regulations, preferably within aviation.
• Experience acting as lead contact for regulatory agencies on incident investigations.
• Current DG certifications or ability to obtain them within three months.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Fluent English communication skills.
