WHS Business Partner

About the role

The WHS Business Partner is Aviagen's on‑the‑ground safety specialist, working across farms and hatchery sites in NSW. You will build relationships, coach leaders and embed safety into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships and facilitate open safety conversations.
• Coach managers and teams to strengthen WHS capability and ownership.
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, audits and compliance reviews.
• Develop and deliver practical WHS training and safety initiatives.
• Use WHS data and trends to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in Health and Safety.
• At least three years WHS experience, preferably multi‑site.
• Strong investigation capability (ICAM or similar).
• Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to work in live poultry environments.
