Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist

About the role

As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist at ANZ, you will support the bank’s mental health, psychosocial risk management and employee wellbeing initiatives across a global workforce. You will work closely with the Manager, Mental Health & Wellbeing and the wider Wellbeing & Safety team to create psychologically safe and healthy workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, design and deliver wellbeing and mental health programs, tools and resources aligned with ANZ’s Wellbeing and Safety strategy.
• Provide specialist advice, design targeted interventions and lead capability‑building initiatives for leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage third‑party wellbeing providers, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for Australia and Asia, overseeing contracts, service‑level compliance and governance reporting.
• Coordinate provider engagement, communications and events related to global wellbeing programmes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Health & Safety, Human Factors or a related discipline (essential).
• Experience in large corporate environments delivering employee wellbeing and psychosocial risk management.
• Proven experience managing relationships or contracts with external wellbeing providers such as EAPs.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret business strategy and deliver practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing abilities.
