Member Training Administrator

About the role

Surf Life Saving Queensland is looking for a Member Training Administrator to join its Education team in South Brisbane. The role supports member training, maintains compliance and delivers excellent service to members. It is advertised as full-time, though a part-time arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate training administration, enrolments, assessments and certification activities.
• Maintain accurate training records and student data within aXcelerate and other systems.
• Provide customer service and support to members, trainers and stakeholders.
• Assist with compliance, reporting and regulatory requirements relating to training delivery.
• Support continuous improvement of training administration processes and contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Education team.

Required profile

• Current Working with Children Blue Card, or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in education, training or member services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience using databases and maintaining accurate records.
• Desirable: experience with a Student Management System (SMS) or Learning Management System (LMS), preferably aXcelerate, and knowledge of VET compliance and training administration.
