Member Services Specialist

About the role

As a Member Services Specialist you will join a fast‑growing Australian health fund, delivering personalised support to new and existing members. Based in Sydney, you will work Monday‑Friday with flexible options to work from home or from the Darling Park office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, high‑quality information to help members make confident health‑insurance decisions.
• Respond to member enquiries via phone and email in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain and update member records while identifying opportunities to improve service outcomes, retention and growth.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of private health‑insurance products, systems and processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, member services or a contact‑centre role, preferably within health insurance or a regulated financial environment.
• Friendly, confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain policies and benefits in plain English.
• Resilient, solution‑focused mindset and a willingness to learn and develop.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems and digital tools.
• Ability to manage multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
