Medical Imaging Assistant – Adelaide

About the role

Jones Radiology is looking for multiple Medical Imaging Assistants to join our Adelaide clinics. This is a full‑time (and one part‑time) opportunity to support radiographers, deliver excellent patient care, and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist radiographers with patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures.
• Perform cannulation using needles and manage exposure to blood and body fluids safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical area and ensure equipment readiness.
• Provide compassionate, patient‑focused service throughout the imaging journey.
• Travel between clinics as required and work rotating shifts between 6 am and 9 pm.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with genuine empathy for patients.
• Previous experience in customer service; clinical experience is a plus.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
• Willingness to travel between sites and work flexible hours.
• No metal implants in the body for MRI safety compliance.
