Materials & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Materials & Logistics Coordinator will manage the receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials and equipment for the Central‑West Orana renewable energy transmission project. This remote‑project position operates on a 14‑days‑on / 7‑days‑off roster and supports construction activities across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, equipment and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records and update movements in the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate storage, identification, tracking and distribution of materials across the project.
• Pick, prepare and issue materials to construction teams as required.
• Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
• Ensure safe and secure storage in line with project requirements.

Required profile

• Experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Officer or Logistics Officer in construction, infrastructure or similar large‑scale projects.
• Proven knowledge of materials management, inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Current Construction White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently on a remote site with a 14/7 roster.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Strong use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and stock reconciliation.
