Master Scheduler (x2) - Program Delivery and Infrastructure Services

About the role

Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage experienced Master Schedulers on contract, supporting major ICT delivery initiatives. Roles cover program delivery and infrastructure-focused project environments, with strong scheduling, reporting and stakeholder engagement required. Multiple contract opportunities exist across Australia, with hybrid arrangements of 3 office days and 2 days working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures using Microsoft Project Professional
• Maintain integrated master schedules and track key milestones
• Support financial reporting and governance activities, and provide PMO support
• Manage project dependencies and scheduling frameworks
• In the infrastructure stream: coordinate schedules across delivery teams and service providers, track milestones, risks and dependencies, lead governance and assurance reviews, and support cost and capacity modelling

Required profile

• Advanced experience building and managing complex project schedules and work breakdown structures
• Experience in enterprise project management environments and multi-vendor ICT settings
• Experience supporting financial tracking and reporting, and understanding of governance and compliance frameworks
• For the infrastructure stream: extensive experience with IT project schedules, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management

Required skills

• Microsoft Project Professional
• Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint and Power BI
• Spreadsheet manipulation and reporting; PowerPoint presentations to executives

What we offer

• $125-$155 per hour excluding superannuation
• 6-12 month contracts with extension options
• Weekly pay, ongoing pre, during and post placement support, and a dedicated consultant per contract
