Marketing Manager – Australia (Fashion)

About the role

Whatnot is looking for a Marketing Manager to own the growth of its fashion product category in Australia. You will immerse yourself in the community, design authentic campaigns, and drive both acquisition and retention across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive user acquisition for the fashion category in Australia through campaigns and events that generate community buzz.
• Build and manage a roster of influencers and creators, treating influencer marketing as a core performance channel.
• Develop high‑performing paid‑media content in partnership with the creative team to boost conversion and first‑time buyer growth.
• Plan and execute digital and in‑person events with sellers and internal teams to increase awareness and supply‑demand metrics.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, use data to refine strategy, and create market‑specific playbooks.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in consumer or category marketing, preferably in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable growth through influencer, paid, and event marketing.
• Comfortable working autonomously, bias toward action and outcome‑focused.
• Strong curiosity about product and community, staying close to users.
