Marketing Automation Specialist (12‑month Contract)

About the role

Carsales is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join the Growth Marketing team on a 12‑month contract. You will own automated customer journeys that drive engagement, retention and membership, primarily using the Braze platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build, optimise and deliver multi‑channel automated journeys using Braze, including segmentation, personalisation and testing.
• Collaborate with paid media, SEO, GEO specialists and the Growth Analytics team to sharpen campaign performance.
• Develop lifecycle communications such as newsletters and long‑form content.
• Support go‑to‑market campaigns for new products and features, including AI‑driven offers.
• Own segmentation, campaign setup, QA and delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Required profile

• Deep hands‑on experience in marketing automation, CRM or lifecycle marketing.
• Proven track record of building end‑to‑end multi‑channel journeys with measurable results.
• Strong analytical mindset; able to extract insights from dashboards and translate them into action.
• Meticulous attention to detail in campaign setup and quality assurance.

Required skills

• Braze (highly regarded)
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms
• Segmentation, personalisation and A/B testing
• Data analysis and dashboard interrogation
