Marketing Assistant with Graphic Design (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

PFERD Australia is seeking a Marketing Assistant with Graphic Design skills for a full‑time, 12‑month contract based in Melbourne. You will support the marketing team in daily activities, create visual assets, and help maintain brand consistency across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Create and update graphic design assets for digital and print media, including brochures, social media posts, email templates, and product presentations.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials and support website content updates.
• Coordinate marketing communications for events, trade shows, and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and technical teams to ensure materials align with customer needs and product positioning.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Attention to detail, good time‑management, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment; experience in tools or abrasives is a plus.
• Post‑secondary qualification in Marketing, Design, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Experience producing digital and print marketing materials.
