Marketing Assistant - Lead Generation

About the role

Pattern is an ecommerce acceleration platform that uses data and AI to help global brands grow on marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, eBay, Tmall, TikTok Shop, JD and Mercado Libre. It is looking for a Marketing Assistant for its Sydney team, an externally-facing role focused on lead generation. The candidate also represents the Pattern brand to prospective client brands and inside the office. The position is full-time and hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation: own and report on lead generation across events, webinars, content and email, tracking MQLs, meeting bookings and conversions, and hand off leads to sales and partnerships
• Brand ambassadorship: represent Pattern at events, webinars and outreach, welcome visitors and sit on the business social committee
• Event coordination: help plan and run B2B events, promote them and attend as a company representative
• Webinar support: help create topics and materials, promote webinars and manage registrations and follow-ups
• Social media: support content for LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and report on engagement
• Content and email: help write blogs, case studies and whitepapers, and maintain and grow the B2B email marketing database
• PR and media relations: align with the external PR agency, help write award applications and track media coverage

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, partnerships, technology or a digital/full-service agency, or a genuine interest in ecommerce
• Comfortable presenting, networking and representing a brand externally
• Proactive, organised, with strong attention to detail and time management
• Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident)

Required skills

• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
• Basic Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to pick up CRM and email marketing platforms such as Adobe Marketo
