Market Sector Manager – Transport

About the role

KBR is seeking a Market Sector Manager for Transport Infrastructure to lead and grow its transport business in South Australia. Based in the new Adelaide office, you will work across major and baseline projects, delivering consulting services from development through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategy to build a diverse, resilient transport infrastructure business, focusing on road and rail projects.
• Identify and win new work, positioning KBR in line with strategic objectives.
• Maintain and expand client relationships while securing new connections.
• Ensure project delivery and commercial milestones exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee overall business performance, including P&L management.

Required profile

• Background in civil engineering with the ability to advise customers.
• Experience in a consulting environment is highly desired.
• Strategic, client‑facing mindset with strong commercial understanding.
• Authentic, collaborative leader who can develop and inspire teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of transport infrastructure markets, particularly in South Australia.
• Ability to innovate and challenge the status quo.
