Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will work in Liebherr‑Australia’s state‑of‑the‑art National Distribution Centre in Para Hills West, Adelaide. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of high‑pressure hydraulic hoses, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble high‑pressure hydraulic hoses, including wrapping, labelling and packing for shipment.
• Use basic hand tools and power tools to complete allocated tasks and maintain production equipment.
• Perform quality checks with measurement and inspection tools to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering spare parts and consumables.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a physically active, hands‑on role.
• Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical) or Process Manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and manuals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Use of measurement and inspection equipment.
• Basic forklift operation (high‑risk forklift preferred).
