Manager: Taxation and Business Services

About the role

Nexia Edwards Marshall is hiring a Manager: Taxation and Business Services within its Business Consulting Services division. This leadership role drives client service in the preparation of financial statements, business improvements and tax strategies. You will report to a Partner or Director, work with clients across a range of industries from the firm's CBD offices, and lead a team of up to four accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of up to four accountants
• Develop client relationships with a diverse group of clients
• Provide proactive, tailored business and strategic tax advice
• Review financial and tax returns for a variety of structures
• Carry out financial modelling, analysis, budgeting and forecasting

Required profile

• Completed CA or CPA qualification
• 6 years of prior tax and business services experience in an Australian accounting practice
• Experience in strategic tax advice and tax planning
• Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience with clients in the property and construction, transport and wine industries is an advantage
