Manager, Security Engineering & Architecture

About the role

Interactive Slipstream Cyber, which combines cyber security expertise with the scale of Interactive, one of Australia's leading technology services providers, is looking for an experienced leader to shape its Security Engineering & Architecture practice. As Manager, you will lead a team responsible for security architecture, platform engineering, security operations capability development and customer onboarding, while helping define technical direction and the cyber capability roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of security engineers and architects.
• Drive the evolution and maturity of security operations capabilities.
• Define and maintain security architecture standards and frameworks.
• Oversee the design, implementation and optimisation of security technologies and platforms.
• Contribute to the future cyber capability roadmap and service offerings.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Ensure security solutions align with industry best practice and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in cyber security engineering, architecture or security operations.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale security solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A passion for building high-performing teams and developing technical talent.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise across security platforms, monitoring, cloud security and cyber defence.
