Manager, Operations Finance (Business Partnering)

About the role

Valmont is seeking a Manager, Operations Finance to act as a true Business Partner for the APAC operational and manufacturing leadership team. This full‑time role is location‑flexible across the Australian Eastern Seaboard and reports to the Director, Finance & Analytics APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial insights through analysis, modelling and recommendations to improve business performance.
• Prepare and submit significant CAPEX requests, providing comprehensive financial analysis and justification.
• Build and maintain a capital management/monitoring program, including forecasts, budgets and strategic plan inputs.
• Develop processes to improve working capital, especially inventory management.
• Perform financial performance reviews with management, focusing on operational variances, working capital and CAPEX.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop counter‑measures and action plans.

Required profile

• Experienced operation, commercial or financial analyst with manufacturing or operational background.
• Strong communicator with a passion for process improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organisation and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA is highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the Asia‑Pacific region.
